We are currently located in Kent, Washington, situated  on 2-1/2 acres.  Little Soos Creek designates the southeast boundary line of the property.  Giving the property a park-like surrounding.

Listening to the trickling sounds of the creek in the quietness of the night, makes a great retreat after a hard days work.   Geese, ducks and cranes wash, swim and sometimes nest in the creek.  An occasional deer, raccoons and squirrels are also often seen.  Salmon run at spawning time in abundance. To protect the creek, we have placed our fence line 50+ feet from it's edge. Plenty of natural foliage also protects the creek's borders.

Our tutor style house hosts separate living quarters in its bottom floor.  A feature that has come in handy for chicks that thought they left the nest, but needed a landing spot for awhile. Originally, built to accommodate a large family, it has plenty of storage, including a whole room with shelves, a very large laundry room and 2 bedrooms in the separate living quarters.  There's 4 bedrooms on the third level in the main living quarters, for a total of almost 5,000 sq. feet, including 5 bathrooms in all.  It's circular driveway and private road to the house, sits well off the main road, although close to developed areas.  A hard to find situation in this area these days.

Our favorite room has to be the movie room.   We have a couple of soft leather, two person  chairs that you just melt in and no one has been able to sit in them for the first time without falling asleep. There's also a grand foyer, formal dining area, living room, kitchen with a separate eating area and an eating bar, food pantry and a large mud room with a sink. One of the 1/2 baths includes a shower next to the upstairs laundry area, they are just though the door from the two-car garage next to the mud room.

The barn, which Bill built, was "originally" three 12 x 12 box stalls, each with separate turn outs, hot and cold running water and drain, heated tack room and a separate feed room.  It also has a garage door that opens to a parking space for a small tractor or riding lawn mower. The barn was "originally" built for my regular sized horses (Chief & Thunder), who are now pastured at a neighbors.  (They have a run in barn and of course they also get attention daily.)

Of course, since it's origination we have had to put in removable dividers in two of the stalls to make five stalls out of the three and the parking space for the tractor now dotes two more mini stalls.  When foaling time comes we can remove the dividers so the mares will have a 12x12 foaling stall with turn out.   Go figure.

And of course,  we are now looking to expand, so we will be selling our home and moving to a larger facility.

There isn't a person that walks or drives down the private easement road, that passes our pasture, that doesn't stop and pet or watch the minis.

Thank You for Visiting Our Farm
